StudioPress Release’s Metro Pro Theme – Updated For 2.0 Framework

Today the StudioPress design team has released an updated version of the Metro Pro Theme. This theme has been updated for the Genesis Framework 2.0 and now has HTML 5 markup. This is actually the 5th theme released with HTML 5 markup.

You can see a list of all there HTML 5 Themes by clicking on the link in the side column of this blog.

What’s been updated in this theme?

I can not tell you exactly what’s been updated with this theme but it did get an update to reflect the new coding changes in the Genesis Framework 2.0 and also the theme got HTML 5 markup. With every theme that StudioPress creates, there are built-in theme features and other features such as:

3 site layouts, 5 theme colors, custom header, custom menus, featured images, fixed width, HTML5 markup, mobile responsive

Mobile responsive means that you do not need any mobile plugins to have the blog mobile view ready. The only thing you need to make mobile responsive is the logo image but you can get help on that on the StudioPress support forum or through their ticket system for 1 on 1 help from paid staff.

If you are a long time subscriber of the Newbiz blog, you might remember that this Metro Pro Theme I’ve actually had on this blog for almost a year and a few things have changed in the looks of this new version. The big thing is HTML 5 markup.

Feel free to browse around the demo version and see if this is a theme that could fit well with your niche blog or a clients blog. You get free lifetime upgrades on theme upgrades and their framework. I am a Pro Plus member so I have access to any old theme and new theme that is made available for download for life. Take a look at the StudioPress homepage and read about their framework and take a look at their pro plus package. It might be right for your line of work to get.
