Xenforo Software Works Well On Large Forums – Breaking News

In case you was out partying all weekend long, digitalpoint forum has finally made the switch over to the xenforo Software. The owner Shawn stated on his forum that there was over 1 million lines of coding he had to edit because he had coded so many extra features and customized so much internal things that it took a few years to get things to the point of going into Alpha mode on the new forum software that is a few years old.

Digital Point forum is one of the largest webmaster forums online and people do have mixed reviews of the forum. You know it’s the typical comments like, to many spammers, need more moderators, ban happy, scammers…etc. Don’t matter what webmaster forum you go onto, you get these types of comments on all of them with the same bad people. It’s not easy running a large forum and not everyone knows how much custom coding is used in the background to kill a lot of bad things before they even happen on the forum. Anyways, a lot of new features has been added to our forum accounts. I’m not going to mention all the new features or improved features on this blog. Login to your account or register to find out.

Now you maybe thinking why I am writing about Digital Point forum when I’m a super moderator on another webmaster forum. The simple answer is, I’m a regular member on their and do post a few times a week because I want to post as a regular member and get the same respect you get as a regular member. Sometimes it’s not a happy time posting on their but I do ask dumb questions that I didn’t want to ask on the other forum. lol

Since the forum is in it’s “Alpha” mode, the owner will be working on a lot of bug fix’s as he had to recode all of his custom coding, special membership features and his custom popular tools. vBulletin has screwed a lot of forum owners in the past in the direction their company is going. I think it started when they first sold their company and long time developers left to start-up Xenforo software. That might have been the trigger point for when Shawn decided to give the xenforo Software a closer look to see if his custom mods and new ones he has in mind to enable will be able to work.

In this current time, people use social media a lot more to network online and xenforo software helps in this aspect. I wish Digital Point forum best of luck in this move to a whole new forum software and if y’all have some extra time, give them a look at. If you want to be apart of a close community and shoot the breeze with friendly members and good looking moderators like myself, just stop by the v7n forum for a coffee break.
