Low Weekend Adsense Earnings Myth or Not?

Alright Adsense publishers, is the low earnings on weekend myth true or not? This is a hard question to fully answer in my opinion. Not every single person/household has a computer, lapto..etcp at home to use and they only go online during the week while at work or at place where there is computer access. I do think there is less internet activity on the weekends because people will tend to go out with their family, take a break from online stuff or just don’t have computer access at home. Traffic for 1 of my sites I know is always down on the weekend but I use that time to work on marketing or tweak things on the website.

You also have to take into consideration for low adsense earnings on the weekends that most adwords advertiser’s end there campaigns on Friday’s and just lower their keyword bidding on the weekend as most folks not searching that much online. Now around the major USA holidays I do believe adsense earnings will be around your same earnings since people do their holiday shopping online a lot. If it’s not a holiday coming up then don’t complain about low click-through rate. Use the weekends to tweak your website, find out any SEO tactic’s that you doing wrong and begin to increase your search engine rankings. I use adwords but not that much and I never have a campaign going on the weekend as most business people not online searching for stuff in their niche or for their business. My adwords results sucked when I had the campaign going on the weekend. I got clicks but they turned into no converts as I didn’t reach the targeted audience that I would have during the week. It was a waste of my money to use adwords on the weekends. Less advertisers bidding high on keywords will give you less earnings per click. (Just my opinion)

So, what do you think about adsense earnings on the weekends? Is the low figure truly a myth or are you just not doing enough to get the higher paying keywords? There so many ways to answer this question.

I don’t depend on Google Adsense earnings at all as I’m an affiliate marketer and this niche is one that you can’t get banned from as there are ton’s of sites out there that have affiliate programs to join. There rules for joining is much less than the Adsense rules we have to obey. The folks who depend on Adsense earnings to make a living who complain about low earnings on the weekends just need to focus on how to double their weekend traffic to potentially increase their low adsense earnings on the weekends. If you getting dirt cheap money per click and your traffic is always down on the weekend then of course you need to find ways to double or just increase your unique traffic on the weekend.

I don’t care about the high paying keywords with adsense. I didn’t create my site centered around high paying keywords, it’s the content on your website that get’s the traffic and makes people stay longer on your website. The longer they stay on your website, the more chances they will click on links, purchase something from you or click on a Adsense ad that caught their eye that’s close to what they was looking for originally. My point is for you to not worry about your low earnings on the weekend and use the slow time to tweak your website or to create new marketing plans to use during the week. Get your blog in shape for the Xmas holiday season. This the time the big spenders search online for stuff to buy and if your adsense ads relate a lot to your content, you will get higher click-through rate or just more sales from your site.

I’m not a Google Adsense expert but like to toss in my opinion on how I view things from time to time. If you disagree with anything that I have said, post your thoughts in the blog comment section. Millions of people wonder why there adsense earnings drop on the weekends then go backup during the week. I see this question on forums a lot during the year.

Happy Earnings.
