Shareasale – Make Money Promoting or Selling

Shareasale has been around for 12 years now. I’ve only been a member since mid 2007 and just recently a year ago started to promote offers regularly. A few days ago, I was unable to login to my account after many login attempts using multiple passwords that I thought would work. I have way to many passwords that I have created but it’s good to use a different one for almost everything you sign up to. If a hacker finds out one password of yours for anything, they will use it for any account that you have online. Anyways, my login troubles had me worried that my account got deactivated but it wasn’t as it turned out.

I sent an email saturday to their support team in which had to wait till Monday to get a response back but the response was worth it. Since I was at work, the tech support staff member actually called my cell phone which was great because I like it when a support tech goes above and beyond to reach their client to fix a problem. While on the phone at work, we resolved the issue. I was so worried that I lost my account and the biggest products I’m promoting right now is the StudioPress products. I’ve got links all over the place and would have been a nightmare if my account was gone for good to cleanup the mess online. Anyways, the shareasale tech support member asked me about my email address that was listed under my account name. The email was my old admin email address from a domain/website I sold in 2007. (The time I registered at shareasale). The email is changed now so I can actually get my login information if I use the forgot password feature.

Anways, if you create products or just promote them (heck you can do both), shareasale is a good place to join. Top notch support (during the week it’s great) and the offers/payouts for some products is off the hook crazy. One thing I like about this site is the content in the quote below:

ShareASale has a strict “No Software” policy which means you will not have to deal with affiliates utilizing Adware, Toolbars, or other desktop software.

Let me just tell you to read the shareasale homepage to learn more about them. They way better than Clickbank for starters but I’m still promoting Clickbank products. All the offers that I apply for and get approved on have lot’s of banner images to choose from along with other marketing material. Example is the theme of the month image in the bottom right hand corner of this blog. That banner and link destination will update automatically every month just as long as the StudioPress affiliate manager does this in their dashboard.

I know this blog post isn’t a good review but I was so glad that I am back into my shareasale account because a few years worth of content and links online would have made me go insane having to search and replace links/content. The direct deposit payment method is what I picked and it’s great hitting the ATM machine and finding out you got paid xxx worth of commission’s. I though the bank messed up one time and added money to my account. Forgot I had the direct deposit info filled out. I won’t go inactive anymore though, It’s easy to find a solid product that converts to promote. Just pick something that interests you because you have to be able to promote it online in a quality way. You will lose your account if caught using illegal marketing tactic’s.
