Have you heard of Sellfy before? About a week ago I heard about it on a webmaster forum so I just saved the link to my favorites and moved on that day. Today I remembered that the reason I saved the link to my web favorites is because I wanted to write a blog post about it. Now there are other digital product sites that you can sell your digital goods on that I wrote about in the past, one was PaySpree and the other one was Shareasale. Shareasale is my favorite one but I’m not a seller but an affiliate marketer on there. I can’t give you my feedback as a seller on any of these sites because I have not sold anything to customer’s.
What I’m going to mention is some things about Sellfy that might trigger you to register and beginning selling your digital goods. Here is the good things about Sellfy and I don’t know any negative things about them yet. I’m sure if I searched Google, I could find something. (I’ll leave this task to you)
- Sell your product within minutes upon joining. Just upload your product, set a price and you are ready to sell. (Minor details still needed)
- You can sell anywhere. Sell on Facebook and Twitter by sharing the link or embed the “buy now’ button on your websites.
- Get paid instantly. No waiting 1 or 2 weeks or more to get your money. PayPal is the only form of payment right now so your payments go straight to your paypal account. The checkout page is very simple and won’t confuse a customer from leaving because there was no buy now or purchase here link
- Attract influencers. You can offer rewards and discounts to your customers and turn them into influencers. They will help you to promote your products, raise awareness and you will be able to quickly attract new clients trough their network
Enough with the small talk about Sellfy, is there any transaction fee’s for the sellers? Yes there is a 5% transaction fee. There is no upfront costs, no subscriptions to pay but the transaction fee. Remember your payment module is PayPal so some people in certain countries will not be able to purchase or even promote your product. You can upload unlimited products, have unlimited storage and product files up to 2gb. Sellfy is sounding really good to use instead of becoming a ClickBank vendor. You have to pay $50 I believe still when you first join Clickbank as a vendor to get your product approved. (I might have mixed up this fee/info a little but see Clickbank help section to get the correct info).
Sellfy maybe adding more payment methods in the future but there is no time-table to when that is. The instant commission to your paypal account is what I like about their payment system. No one likes waiting 1 to 4 weeks for there commission’s when they can use the money right away to re-invest or pay your personal bills. If you have a few minutes then consider joining Sellfy for free and test out 1 of your products selling through them.
I’m looking for real reviews from Sellfy sellers to post their comments in the blog section below.
