Quattro Child Theme Released – A StudioPress WordPress Theme

Just yesterday StudioPress released a new child theme. The theme is called Quattro Child Theme and the theme kind of looks like a vintage old school black and white design. If you are old enough, you might remember the black and white screen when watching t.v. way back in the day. You might want to ask your parents about black and white television if you are fairly young. Anyways, if you are looking to give your that blog classy old school look and you are into photography, then I think this theme could fit perfect for your blog.

Hey, you don’t have to use this theme for a photo blog but I was just giving a little suggestion and I have no clue what your blog is about so this theme in fact could fit your needs for whatever niche it is in. Look below for a brief screenshot of the theme.

This is the 14th theme released by StudioPress that is a responsive theme. In fact this blog that you are on is now responsive theme and can be viewed on a mobile device. (A few kinks to work out in the theme on my end though)

In short a responsive theme means that you can view it on your mobile device and see the same theme and almost the same layout on your phone as you would see on the regular computer/laptop. No need to install a mobile plugin with this Quattro Child Theme because it’s a responsive one. I’ve mentioned this before, to many plugins can slow down your blogs pagespeed and conflict with other plugins to cause more hard than good.

The Quattro Child Theme has 3 color styles to pick from, 6 layout options (see demo), custom header, featured images, fixed width and theme options. Please keep in mind, the header area where your blogs name is at can be customized. You see my logo image in my header? I customized this on my StudioPress theme. You see on the Quattro theme in the header area where the search box is? You can move that search box into your side column and then do what I did, have the custom header image stretch the whole screen. Anyways, this is another good creation by the StudioPress team of developers and please ask any presales questions on their official support forum.

Have a great Day.
