Make x,xxx A Month With Adsense – Wrong!

How many of you have come access ebooks or products in general that say “purchase my system and be on your way to earning x,xxx a month with Google Adsense?” Please don’t fall for these trick’s and the screenshots on these sales pages that are very convincing. They are fake adsense screenshot’s folks. I can fake a screenshot and insert whatever amount of money I want to. These product owner’s do the fake screenshots to make converts on their product. Have you ever come across a real human who bought that product and is making a living from adsense without their website(s) getting hit by one of the Google algorithm changes? Yup, I don’t think so. The testimonial’s are fake as if you check their website links traffic and rankings, they not that good at all or parked domain’s.

Now don’t get me wrong, there are people who make over xx,xxx a month with Google adsense but they found the secret to success by trial and error. When their websites took off and became very popular online, their ad placements came into play to get the most out of each click. Also if you do placement targeting, you could actually earn more per click as more advertiser’s will be bidding for top position for that one ad block you have on your website. Sites like Ezinearticles.com are premium adsense publisher’s. You ever notice how the Google Adsense ad’s are different from what we can create on high-profile websites? They have premium adsense publisher accounts.

The Requirements To Become A Premium Adsense Publisher:

(Note, they will contact you to join the program)

    * 5 Million search queries per month, or 20 Million content page views per month.

Yea ok, like I’m ever going to reach that number in my lifetime. There are a lot of excellent benefits to being a premium publisher if you have this many page views a month.

Here Are a Few Benefits:

  • No “AdChoices” or “Ads by Google’ over Advertisements
  • Complete customization of ads including color, font and sizes is allowed.
  • You can place more than three ads on a page.
  • Allowed to negotiate on the earning share (rather than normal 68%).
  • Direct contact with Adsense experts and Ad managers.
  • No fear of account blocking due to clickbombs/fraud clicks etc.

That’s almost all the good perk’s I listed above that I found online. I’m sure that there are more perks but let’s just leave becoming a premium adsense publisher as a dream only. Don’t fall for these stupid adsense ebook’s or software that proclaims you could earn a living from Google adsense. You can make good money if you get a lot of unique traffic, have good content on your site to keep people on the site longer. Look, the longer they are on your site, the more chances they might actually click on an ad to find the real information that they are seeking or if something just catch’s their eye. People keep saying, pick a high paying keyword niche and build an auto-blog to earn a good living. (duplicate content)

News flash, Google doesn’t like auto-blog’s and have worked on making algorithm changes to slap a penalty on these blog’s. If you pick high paying keywords to build a website/blog around to use for Google Adsense then you better be an expert in that niche or you will find it difficult to provide unique content and customize the site to be professional looking. Google can disable your publisher account at any time and really never give you a straight forward answer to the reason why. You would have to take matters into your own hand and read their rules again then check every square inch of your site to fix what got your account disabled. They reapply for your account back and pray that they accept you again.

In conclusion, to make money with Google Adsense, you need a good domain that reflects what your website is all about, good keywords for your niche that you are very familiar with and unique content plus good ad placement. There is no secret formula to making huge money with Google. It’s basically a lot of luck and having page 1 rankings helps a lot. Focus not only on SEO on your homepage but also your internal page’s. I’ve found out that search engine traffic does convert well with Google Adsense myself. The problem is, Google can boot you off page 1 the next day so it’s quality backlinks that you need to get each week to keep or increase your rankings.

The next time you see some adsense ebook or software that claim’s you can make x,xxx a month in x amount of time, email the owner of that business this URL to read. http://buymystupidebook.com

For the record, I focus on affiliate marketing to earn money online and use adsense as a filler for empty space. So basically I already am working hard on my adsense alternative. Please discuss in the comment section below your 2 cents on adsense ebooks or software that says you can earn huge money with adsense. I don’t believe any of that crap and prefer to be successful through my own experimenting. Heck, if I find the secret myself, I’d create an ebook but would give it away for free and build an email list. :P

  1. I’ve never thought that Adsense was a legitimate monetization strategy. It seems like you’re doing a lot of work only to make pennies.

I agree in that affiliate marketing probably has way better payouts if you establish yourself as a credible person with a credible website.

    • You are exactly right. People see success video’s or other adense stories online and get all hyped up and think they can do it. It’s not that simple and these folks don’t work on a alternative revenue source to fall back upon. If our websites not making money, we can’t pay our hosting bills and other online bills we use to run our websites..etc
