Are you planning on starting up a small business or just your own personal website for something and not sure on what host to choose? Consider giving HostMonster a look. What I like about HostMonster is that it’s support is USA based as in you get support techs from USA which is my home country. I really hate when I ask a presales hosting support question on a web hosts live chat feature and they from a 3rd world country that doesn’t understand the tech talk/geek lingo questions I ask or still having trouble understanding the English language.
Part of choosing a host or for me was the support system. Before I even think about spending money and time in setting up shop with a web host for a long period of time, I ask presales questions via. email support and even live chat support to test their response time and knowledge. If there support is bad and not helpful, I will not use them for my web host because I’d get a feeling that they don’t have the brains to maintain its server’s and cause more harm to my site then good. Uptime is the biggest reason for me and health of the server that my shared account will be on with hundreds of other small websites.
