3 things that you need on July 4th are fireworks, the ocean and beer and that is what I’m doing now while on vacation in Ocean City, Maryland. You probably do not know about 2 weeks ago I wrote about why you need a vacation once and awhile. Well this is my vacation and I did manage to schedule a few blog posts before I left for my trip. Thats the good thing about using WordPress is that you can schedule future blog posts. lol
I’m not going to lie, I’m an alcoholic for this whole trip while hanging out on the beach all day working on my tan and bar hopping at night. Me and my dad did 1 round of golf on an expensive course and well I had to drink more beer because my game wasn’t that good. I don’t play a lot each month so I still have a nasty slice for a right hander. Maybe I should have pulled a happy Gilmore and drove the ball like he does. Anyways, this vacation is just what the doctor ordered for me. Getting rid of the work stress and not thinking about all my bills I have to pay. We rented a condo from my dad’s employee and it’s 1 block from the beach and from the strip where all the bar’s are. I just hop on the bus for $1 and can go bar hopping without having to drive the car.
Sitting on the back deck on the condo is so relaxing because the bay is right there and you can see the other tenants boats docked. Our landlord guy doesn’t own a boat so we couldn’t go out on the bay. We did find some crab cages and went crab fishing off our dock. They not big but we tossed them back because they wasn’t big enough to keep to eat. The best medicine to get rid of stress is to sit on the beach watching the sun go down or even at night. I don’t know why but the sound of the ocean is so soothing to me. This is a great 4 of July vacation because the fireworks can be seen by sitting on our deck. They going to go off over the bay so me and the family going to bar-b-que and drink till they go off.
Have a great 4th of July and I’ll get back to normal blogging stuff on this blog when I return back from my vacation. I will have the laptop with me but not actually going to be online that much during the vacation trip. If you contact me about something or submit a blog post, be patient for me to get to thing’s. It’s my vacation and I’m expecting to be lazy with online stuff and put things off till I have more time to read things. Please don’t let this stop you from posting blog comments and submitting quality guest blog posts. When I logon, first thing I will be checking is this blog before I read just a few emails.
