Everyday I see people creating threads on forums complaining about their traffic loss or rankings getting worse. Yes, it could be that you was hit by the Google Panda update but that doesn’t mean your site will never recover. First of all, you need to find out what you are doing wrong on your website or your link building tactic’s. Google doesn’t make mistakes when they slap a penalty on a website. They do make mistakes with Google Adsense accounts and sometimes ban someone who didn’t do anything wrong. This doesn’t happen to often so don’t go holding your breath either.
Let me toss out a few of my own tips to the folks who think they got slapped by the Panda or just don’t know why there traffic is dying or rankings getting bad. You need to provide original content on your website, I’ll admit at first when I created this blog I didn’t always have original content but I’m slowly cleaning up for past mistakes while not getting hit by a Panda update. Before I accept a guest blog post, I check the blog post out to make sure it wasn’t submitted elsewhere. I can’t stop someone from submitting the blog post to my blog and then 2 days later submitting it to other sites. Google sometimes will know who has the original blog post or the first one anyways.
I don’t hire copywriters to write content for me. Sometimes you can’t trust that they will write something original and not spin an article they found on the web related to your niche. I’m not a good writer at all but I try my hardest in explaining what’s in my mind on the blog. Google loves original content and won’t hit you up with a penalty if you write original blog posts that are not spinned. There are people who think spinning is a great link building method but they are wrong. I think people who spin articles are just spammers regardless of what software that they are using. Some people say they are using the best spinner software out there. I couldn’t even name 1 of them because I never looked into it.
So, I’ve mentioned about writing original content and don’t spin your content. These are 2 big things that can help Google not slap you with a Panda for a long time. Make your website easy to look at or easy to navigate around with not that many ad’s above the fold. People got hit hard in the above the fold update. You can see that I have one Adsense ad at the top of this blog post with really no more ads at all above it. I’m trying to make the user experience a plesent one in which they can easily find the content or navigation links to search around the website. A blog with way to many ads above the fold or elsewhere can sometimes increase your bounce rate because people are not on the blog to click on one of the 5 to 10 banner ads but to read the content. They may end up clicking on an ad somewhere if they truly interested.
One thing that I think can help out all people who got hit with the panda update or is fearing that they will soon is to request a website review on some webmasters forum’s. Sometimes changing your template, fixing coding errors, small SEO tweaks can help improve your rankings or overall appearance. Google is out to get the low quality content, link farm, spammy looking websites. If you need money so bad, don’t stick up a million ads, run a autoblog, spin content but write original content with a few ads in floating around your blog. I have 3 Adsense blocks on my blog. That’s all I’m going to add because I’m all about the user experience and want my visitors to read the blog posts on this blog. You know why I want them to read the blog post? I have some social buttons at the end of the blog post and if they like the blog post, they will use these button’s. This means, I could get a spike in traffic for a good blog post.
Feel free to submit a guest blog post on this blog. I do hope it’s going to be an original one.

This type of motivation is what we need.. its good that being a moderator at one of the biggest webmaster forums you are running and writing original content on this blog .. i am sure i could do some guest posts at your blog sometime.!
