IT Exam Sheets – Get Certifications Information Online

Thinking about changing your career and wanting to take a dive into the computer industry? The computer industry is where the money is at. Technology is not going to die anytime soon and more and more computer related jobs are popping up both online and offline. I’ve worked in the computer industry for almost 13 years now and there is always something to learn at my job as nothing is perfect when working on computers. My job task now for the past 5 years in this department is repairing and upgrading computers/laptops to certain specs for our account.

After highschool I didn’t know what I wanted to do in life back in 1998 but I did love computers and grew up using them as in playing games and chatting on message boards. I went to computer school a few months after highschool and got a degree in “Computer Technical support” back in 1999. Wow, we learned DOS, Window 95 I think, Novell and binary numbers besides physically removing and replacing parts in computers. Back in 1999 the technology sucked compared to today. Desktops and laptops are much smaller so the parts are more fragile to work with. At my company you need at least 1 certification to even apply for a job there. You need your A+ certification.

That cert is one of the easiest certs to get from what I was told. The rest of the certifications are a little hard but with good studying habits, you’ll pickup the information fast and be able to take the certification test. Depending on what field in the computer industry that you want to get in, there are certain certifications that if taken and passed, your resume will be outstanding and might land you a job on the first interview that you have. Keep in mind, the more certs that you have the better the chances at you starting out at a higher pay rate when hired. What I do at my job right now, I didn’t learn it in computer school. I’m still learning things on the job. Getting certifications will make you understand more about certain things but it won’t give you real hands on experience that companies look for.

I’ve ripped apart Dell 755 desktops/towers and Dell D630 laptops so much that i can slap a new motherboard in these in an hour or less. This means the laptop or desktop fixed and actually sitting in BIOS or ready to put an operating system on it. The only hard part is not dropping any screws on the black floor and crawling around to find them.

I have found a website called exam sheets that has a lot of information for you to check out if you are wanting to get some certifications and ultimately change your career. My cousin has a lot of certs and now is a network administrator for the federal government and makes a good living with good benefit’s. It took him a few years to get to the place that he is now at the company but his certifications gave him that opportunity to be able to apply for internal job openings as he had the basic requirements to do so.

Like I said earlier, computers is where the future is and someone needs to be able to fix them, install hardware/software and create the program’s. Do you want to get into the web hosting business? Well if you get your server certifications and understand the hosting industry, you could apply for server jobs at web hosting companies. Web hosting is not going to die folks. Getting the expert information from exam sheets website is a great way for you to either further your IT career or help you get started in it. BTW, exam sheets will always have the latest information on each Certification. My company will hand out a free voucher if you want to take a cert test. This means if I think I can pass it on one try, it’ll cost me nothing to take the test. Check with your company if they give out vouchers to get computer certifications.

If you know of friends who got some certs, ask for some resources that they used to study besides you checking out exam sheets. The more information that you learn, the easier the test will be and if you get a pop quiz question in an interview, you can answer it right away and prove that you are capable of doing the job.

  1. IT Certification Exam … I remember getting a couple of that but I failed having both. The first certification exam I took is to be a certified programmer. It has two phases, the Object oriented programming and the procedural. If we passed any of which then we’ll get a national certification program from the Philippines government branch handling the College level. And I took another exam, it’s for Java programming, the assessor is from Sun Micro System. Yeah, expect the worse … our brains bleed reading the program criteria and mechanics. We are all gone nuts that time. And yes, I failed having it too.

I don’t feel bad being failed (except the money lost for paying the exam), because I know I tried taking the exam and now I know how it looks and how it’s like taking a certification exam, and hoping one day I have the courage to try it again and hopefully bring home the bacon.

Having certificate in IT field is a very big plus to get job, your resume will shine and withstand those who don’t have one. Esp. when you get certificate from the big players of IT industry to name some: CISCO, Java, and Oracle.
