How To Easily Get A Guest Blog Post Approved

Ok, this blog post may sort of sound like a rant from me but lately the emails and blog comments I get about guest blog posting really get on my last nerve. Why you ask? People just not following 2 simple instructions and they wonder why I don’t contact them back about them writing a guest blog post for me. One of the biggest mistakes people make is posting a blog comment on my write for us page and asking to do a guest blog post. What people seem to miss or just don’t care is the last 2 sentences on this page. In fact, let me quote them for you so you don’t have to look at my write for us page right now.

If you enjoyed writing guest blog posts on this blog, post your comments below. You know brag about traffic or how nice I was in talking to you through emails..etc Useless comments will be removed. Use the Contact page to send me questions/concerns about writing on this blog. Don’t make any guest blog post pitches in the comment field.

That last sentence made things clear that it would be wise to email me to talk about doing a guest blog post so we can communicate faster and you could actually send me an attachment with a preview of your blog post if you got it written already. Don’t reply in the comment field making your guest blog post pitch. By doing this, it tells me that you don’t follow instructions and you will most likely outsource the blog post or it’ll be either spun content or a blog post that was posted on a million article directories. I’m no dummy and stay up to date with what’s going on in the SEO world and don’t want any low quality content on here that could make Google mad. Also people forget to read the writing guidelines I created.

By submitting your blog post to the wrong category, I will delete it without reading it. In fact I have a Miscellaneous News category for blog posts that don’t actually fit into the previous categories that are created. Don’t submit a blog post about green jello is healthy in the Adsense category. Doing this multiple times by not choosing the correct category will get your account removed and if you continue to re-register I’ll ban you from this blog. Something so simple as to select the correct category or to email me about maybe creating a new one is not a hard thing to understand. If a lot of blog posts in the Misc. category that I think would all fit in 1 brand new category, I will create one. I’m very friendly and helpful when people email me about anything to do with making a guest blog post on my blog.

By not following basic instructions in which I think I’ve provided them on the blog already, you are setting yourself up for a no go on having a live blog post on this blog for life. Once again, original quality content only. I’m actually still deleting a few blog posts from a few years ago as I’m getting rid of some junk in this trunk. I may not have a really famous blog but I won’t approve everything including the kitchen sink. This blog’s goal is to be a good resourceful blog with some good honest advice/opinions on stuff.

If you are a SEO expert or doing link building for your clients, I sure hope that your client will respond to blog comments if you post a blog post about their website on this blog. If you don’t then I’m forced to make blog comments on your behalf and I’m not an expert in your clients field of business or know about the business really good. Please if you submitting a blog post and I approve it, try to check up on the blog post to see if people posted a blog comment. All blog posts are set to moderate but I will approve all of them within 24 hours anyways.

Ok, my rant is done and it’s like getting a huge load off my chest. Now if you could pay my rent, credit card, car loan bill…. O wait, I’m about to do that right now. lol

Don’t be afraid to email me about writing a guest blog post on this blog, either follow the instructions on the write for us page or just use the contact link in the menu bar to talk to me through email’s. I’m actually a nice guy if you don’t do the stuff I just complained about. Remember, snakes don’t bite unless your provoke them. :P
