Thanks for the response. I did a fast blog post this morning after finding that link. Will think about doing this in the future for sure. Just have to find a lot of time to do this. I like to write long blog posts and this one was not long. :(

Ok, back to work for me. Shouldn't be on the blog but doing some work instead. lol

Thanks for the list of Top 100 Marketing blogs. I am just learning to use SEO and this will be very useful in my search for more information. As you mention, the changing algorithm make it a necessity to stay informed.

Whoa! This Indybail from V7N. That list is kind of overwhelming. Given your discerning eye for selecting superior blog posts, any chance of writing a another post highlighting ta few of the ones you think are the most productive?

"my rant is over with and i’m going to do some online banking on the laptop. "

LOL

Some of the gadgets that have come out have made life for shut-ins better so they would be taking a step back.

My phone does not rule my life. If it was gone the only thing I'd miss is the security of being able to call for help in an emergency seeing pay phones are hard to come by these days plus you never know if someone offering help is legit or a creep. Sad, but true.

Guess if all the technology was gone the board games and cards would be dusted off and we would have game or card nights with actual people.

Microwave is handy but we don't use it for major cooking so guess we would relearn how to warm up leftovers on the stove or in the oven. We still use the stove and oven for actual cooking. Primative I know but there's just something better about doing things the old fashioned way. Would miss the convection oven. It's a power saver.

It is sad that some people would totally freak out without their technology gadgets. Maybe they should go camping (in a tent) somewhere where there is no WiFi, internet or electricity for a reality check. You would have to learn how to entertian yourself to pass the time and learn how to actually strike up conversations and keep them going. Bordem would not be an option.

Off to microwave my lunch now. LOL

I always update any plugins as i see the notice on the plugin page in my dashboard. Before i actually click on the link to update the plugin automatically, i look at the "changelog" and see what is fixed in the update. Then i proceed with the update after i make a full backup of my mysql database and files through my cpanel on my hosting account. I always do a backup before updating my plugins.

I've never had any issues when updating plugins at all but i play it safe and do a backup before proceeding. Since am part of the studio press family, when i update there framework last month, i had no problems with the blog at all. I don't have to much custom coding done other then stuff that i did myself and know how to do again.

I might have missed it but I didn't see where you do updates to your version of WP, theme, etc. I have a ton of updates pending because I'm afraid I might break something if I update WP.

Wow what have I been missing over at v7n? All this darn work getting in my way of checking out the forum. That is one of the reasons I stopped visiting DigitalPoint though, tons of crap posts and why I started up over at v7n. Will have to find some time to get there this week.
