Not to long ago (Feb. 2nd), Amazon launched a sports category on their website. What got me all excited is the Fan Shop category. I’m a big sports fan and collect sports memorabilia still to this day. My dad got me started when I was very young into sports and over time, I started to collect autographs, cards, jersey’s and anything else related to sports. In fact, I’ll tell you something that you will prolly think that I’m a crazy sports fan. In my living room, I have a bookshelf filled with autograph’s from Philadelphia Phillies players, bobble head’s, Playoff and World Series ticket’s. It’s the first thing that you see when walking into my apartment. This is just one bookshelf and doesn’t include stuff I have hanging up in picture frames that cost a good chunk of money and in my bedroom.
If you visit the Amazon homepage or even the Fan Shop category, you’ll have access to buy all kinds of sports related stuff which includes your favorite teams all the way to collectible’s. What I mean by collectibles? You know expensive autograph’s, real equipment that could have been used by a hall of famer and much more. This new category Amazon has created will only get better as time moves on. I suspect more sports related stuff to be listed on their site.
The Super Bowl is tomorrow and even though it’s to late to buy a jersey to wear, you can still buy one to wear for next year or buy the super bowl’s team stuff. I suspect the winning super bowl team will have all kinds of stuff available to the public to buy starting this coming Monday. Amazon will have stuff up on their website to sell along with other retail stores in the USA. Amazon always has great deals on stuff and I do use them a lot to buy things.
Now that there is a Fan Shop on Amazon, I will be spending a lot of money on sports stuff for myself and for family members. My brother’s birthday is in one month and I found the perfect gift for him. It’s something related to the Phillies since we are die-hard Philly fans for life. Check out Amazon’s sports category, it’s an easy way to get high quality sports stuff without having to leave your house.
Have a safe Super Bowl Sunday and do not drink and drive. I’m betting on the coin toss and other stuff like alway’s. The Eagles will make it back to the Playoffs next year. We had a bad year.
