I know this blog post is coming out of left field for what this blog is really about but what other forums do you visit for information pertaining to your online business? In the SEO world, things change all the time and the best place to get the latest news and tips from SEO experts is on webmaster forums. This seems to be the hang out.
I belong to about 5 webmaster forums and only 2 of them I am active on. Well actually to tell you the truth only one of them I am active on, the other one I visit for about an hour each week. 
Some of you may know that I am snakeair a Super Moderator on V7N.com.
Do you have a favorite webmaster forum where you visit each day for the latest news for certain things in the online world? Have you learned anything from visiting these types of forums? Even though I have special powers on V7N forum, I just love reading threads on there because I like hearing opinions from more than one person from different parts of the world. A lot of professional SEO experts, affiliate marketing guru’s and other business owners hang out on webmaster forums providing very good advice. Now if you just go to webmaster forums to link drop for a backlink and not actually read any threads on there, you are shooting yourself in the foot. I learned a lot from V7N and it’s helped me work on getting this blog ranked for some good keyword phrase’s and I continue to tweak things in which sometimes backfires on me but I like to experiment and test out new advice I here. I spend more time on this forum then I do marketing online but I like to help people more than helping myself out.
What webmaster forums do you visit a lot? If it’s not V7N forum then I will ban your IP from this blog. (Just kidding, just trying to get you to join V7N forum ) What have you learned from contributing on webmaster forums? Remember we all was newbies once and just want some friendly advice from experienced professionals or experts in certain niche’s. Don’t ever talk down on members who ask stupid questions because you know you asked them a long time ago.
